EQUIPMENT

We use Trimble reflectorless total stations for surveying. On site data is logged on a handheld device which draws the survey in real time so that the operator can easily monitor progress.
The same equipment is used for setting out. In this case the set out data is first uploaded onto the handheld computer.

Trimble GPS is used for establishing site control and carrying out larger topographic surveys, or setting out for civils works.

A notebook, running specialist survey software, is used in conjunction with a distometer for producing accurate and detailed building floor plans and elevations.

Techsol uses ‘Leica’ electronic levels for monitoring works, checking control levels, establishing floor levels on building surveys, and setting out levels for construction.

We mainly use AutoCAD for drawing production however a wide range of other formats can be produced from our survey software. Drawings are delivered via email.
CDs and paper plots are provided on request.
